The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has announced that it will conduct a training programme on Electoral Boundary Delimitation Study for its electoral officers and relevant staff.

Electoral boundary delimitation — the process of defining the geographic boundaries of electoral constituencies — is a critical element of a fair and representative electoral system. Accurate and up-to-date boundaries ensure that each constituency reflects the population it serves and that voters are equitably represented.

Objectives of the training:

Strengthen the technical capacity of NEBE staff in boundary delimitation methodology
Ensure compliance with constitutional and legal requirements for constituency boundaries
Review and update existing constituency maps in preparation for upcoming elections
Promote transparency and public confidence in the delimitation process
